The first picture is a pulled pork sandwich plate that we didn't actually order. The second picture is the pulled pork dinner that they brought it out to me. It was dry and burnt. If they had not accidentally brought out the sandwich plate and I ate the meat off of that one this experience would have been a one. The green beans had garlic but no salt or pepper. The greens had more flavor than anything. I understand that 45 minutes till closing there was not going to be much sweet tea. I'm lucky it was super sweet or I wouldn't have had a full cup. Sorry about the messy photo, was already in my plate to start eating. I had the pulled chicken plate with onion rings and a side of slaw. We also had a ½ order of the pulled pork nachos. The nachos were good, but I wish they did a little better at layering the meat, cheese and chips. The top is always the best spot but then they got dry and skimpy just below that. My food was cooked well and the onion rings had a nice crisp, although a couple of them were empty! I never made my own rings, but shouldn't there be an onion inside?
Reordered 1 lb of sausage and a half order of central barbecues famous pulled pork nachos. Truthfully it was just okay I would not recommend ordering the nachos again. The chips are very flimsy pork is a little dry and the cheese granular. The sausage tastes a lot like kielbasa. Watching other people order the most popular items appeared to be the barbecue nachos, chicken wings, ribs, and salad bowls. They have four types of sauces available mustard, vinegar, medium, and hot. The medium is the chains primary sauce
Central Barbecue was highly recommended by many locals when we mentioned our visit to Memphis and our desire to try the best ribs. The ribs were indeed delicious, and the potato salad and onion rings were equally impressive. My wife noted that the women's restroom was pristine and beautifully decorated. Additionally, drinks are included in the meal price, which I know might seem like a small detail, but it really contributes to an outstanding overall experience.

$70 for 2 people. I would have been happier with a McDonald's 10 piece nugget and BBQ sauce. Everything seems like it's been in a steamer for so long is all turned to mush. In my pix you see pulled chicken on the blue plate. And pork nachos in the packet. Both nothing but mush. I could add enough sauce. The sauce itself is nothing special. Tastes like McDonald's sauce. Only thing worth eating is the fruits, green beans and mac&cheese.
had to visit central bbq, one when memphis best bbq. there is a lot of very good bbq places to eat, but I love the dry ruin and only good BBQ sauce and it's money. the mac and the cheese were really good. the green beans were like can beans, the smoked truthahn was really good, bananenpudding was good, but just a piece of bananen. it is worth it.
Was ok... Pulled pork was dry. Had four sauces the medium one was the best hot mustard and vinegar all had about the same flavor. Brisket was okay smoked turkey was really good. Enjoyed mac and cheese onion rings and barbecue baked beans. Staff was polite and the place is clean. Has a fairly big outside seating area. I would give him another try.
As of the time im posting, this location no longer serves brisket due to cost. I wish i knew before i got there. 4 stars because its clean and the employees were pleasant and professional. Good portions size helps but $17 for turkey is ehh. Also their spicy sauce is more like mild.

I really enjoy Central BBQHad the pulled pork sandwich with slaw, spicy BBQ sauce... love the hot BBQ sauce, and the vinegar BBQ sauce. Homemade chips are so fresh, crispy with some seasoning on them. Mac n cheese was tasty and sweet tea was perfect.Food: 5/5
