As a loyal customer of YuYu’s Pizza for over 10 years, I feel compelled to share my disappointment with the recent changes at the restaurant. The once exceptional quality of their pizzas has noticeably declined, leaving me puzzled about the reasons for this downturn. I suspect there may be new ownership, as I encountered unfamiliar staff and experienced surprisingly poor customer service.
The crust, which used to be a highlight of my visits, lacked the freshness and flavor that initially attracted me to this pizzeria. The toppings seemed scant and uninspired, resulting in an overall underwhelming dining experience.

Horrible experience yesterday. I called yesterday, 12/31/2022 at 1:00 PM to order a jumbo veggie pizza for pick up. I was told it would take about 40 minutes for my order. No problem, I didn’t mind the wait time. I arrived 42 minutes after placing the order and was told the pizza was still cooking. I sat down and waited another 20 minutes for a single pizza. When my order was ready and I was paying, I was told it was hot and straight out of the oven. Great. I get home, only 5 minutes away from this spot, and as I am about to eat the first slice of pizza, the entire slice falls apart. The pizza was still dough-y in the center. Got the large Deluxe for pickup and they told me it would be ready in 15 min (got there over 30 min later but the pizza was still hot and fresh? pizza smacked was really good. Something closer to Shakey's as opposed to pizza hut or dominos. Will definitely go back to try the bbq chicken one next time?

I went by today, but it looks like it’s a wrap. The tables were up refrigerator was empty no sign of life. If you guys remember Yuyu’s on 1st. They took over the Pizza was delicious and all.
I've been a customer for a long time, they were called yuyu's pizza before then they change of owner and now they are cerese's...I love it there ever since I still order there!!!

Best pizza in east LA! Been a cerese’s pizza lover since it was back on 1st street. My whole family orders faithfully from here. Soooo good
