If you like an fancy lunch during your skiing than you mus tho one day over there when you are @ the 3 V. The staff does a great job, the food is very fresh and nice. There is a nice desert buffet and the one list has a lot of choice. Inside you have the nice mountain atmosphere an outside an incredible nice terrace. But in the end you pay much to match. One you are ready to pay for a good lunch in the 3 v's I would recommend to go to Chalet the Pierre or the Cap Horn in Courchevel, you are in the same prices but over there everything is just a little bit more sophisticated.
A bit disappointed in the provision of good skiing restaurants on the Val Thorens piste - many overpriced for simple burgers and pizzas in very unauthentic settings. This was the best of the bunch however - still quite pricey ( but where isn't in ski resorts!) but a good menu with tasty food. does tend to get busy after 1230 so would recommend arriving early for lunch.
Back again on pain of death as my daughter loves the dessert buffet here. She had a Cheeseburger and I had the seared tuna burger with guacamole and tempura veg. So filling were these plates that we shared a café gourmand and I had a nice 50cl bottle of white. Great service, kid friendly but 100 Euros......worth it though!
Nice place to sit out on a sunny afternoon. Can get busy but food and drink is of good quality and the live music in the afternoon is a pleasure to listen to, and watch from a deck chair outside with the mountain drop behind. Lovely.

Superb place o chill out with glass of rose in the break between skiing down the slope. High quality food and super nice ambience - all you need for unforgettable lunch in the heart of skiing paradise!
Used the self-service below the restaurant. Sunny terrace on the slopes with music (but not too loud) various choices, tasty food. Very good value for money compared to most restaurants on ski slopes
Really nice pizza's! Always managed to get a table despite how busy the place was. It's self service so sometimes queues were pretty long but it was Easter.
This Michelin guide restaurant saves the culinary experience when skiing in Val Thorens. Of course pricey with petite portions but enjoy..!
