Chalet De L'Albere

We had decided to do a two day trekking and spend our night at the Chalet de L'Albere. A great little place with very friendly, easy-going people. The terrace had a great view, and we spent quite some time there, just enjoying the location. The inside of the restaurant, where went to when it got colder in the evening and early morning, feels homey and welcoming. There was stove that kept it nice and warm inside. The food is of really good quality and service very accommodating. There are enough sleeping options e.g dormitory, twin and double rooms and beds are comfortable. Un chalet au coeur de la forêt,Sous un magnifique ciel étoilés. On rentre avec la bonne odeur du feu de bois et les sourires des patrons.Le chef vous propose une carte authentique de la région avec des produits scrupuleusement choisi pour avoir des produits frais et d excellente qualité, riche est variée. Un menu enfant et un menu découverte copieux. Carte des vins avec choixMusique et décoration chaleureuse pour passer un moment très agréable. Terrasse avec vue panoramique à couper le souffle.Ambiance décontracté Bref il faut y aller tout est parfait

It's an exciting drive up to this restaurant using narrow tracks with hairpins but the views when you get there are magnificent. In summer you can sit outside on the veranda and take in the panorama. My wife and I went for lunch with friends and it was great. A surprising number of people make the trek up to the establishment but when you have your meal you understand why. The food and wine are very good and very reasonable and the staff are friendly and efficient. Recommended.

Nous sommes retourné cette année au Chalet de L'albère, Col de l'Ouillat.C'est un restaurant toujours aussi agréable, avec sa terrasse donnant sur le mont Canigou et les Pyrénées.Le personnel est toujours très sympathique et efficace.Ne pas oublier de prendre du liquide ou son chéquier, les cartes de crédit ne sont pas acceptées.Ensuite n'hésitez pas à vous ballader à pieds dans les environs (très bon pour digérer un très bon repas) Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Der Zufall wollte es, dass wir am letzten Sonntag diese fantastische kleine Bergstraße fuhren als wir am Ende der Strecke dieses Bergchalet entdeckten. Und Glück muss man haben..ein Tisch war frei ( Reservierung empfohlen)Das Essen, die freundliche Bedienung und dann noch dieser Panoramablick, hier passt einfach alles. Besuch absolut empfehlenswert.

Yet another wonderful lunch with friends, excellent food, 1st class service as always. Thank you Laura for looking after us. Amazing setting, with incredible views. Well worth the drive up from St Genis Des Fontaines. Can't recommend this highly enough.

Perdu dans la montagne ce chalet sert des plats catalans savoureux dans un décor magnifique où les balades sont agréables et reposantes loin des villes !

Cadre et vue magnifique, personnel jovial et accueillant et le repas était savoureux.le magret à la sauce au fromage de chèvre du coin est un délice.
