The drive up, to be honest, is quite slow on steep windy and mostly narrow roads, but it's well worth it! We had small cars, so you don't need a 4 wheel drive although I suspect you might if it is raining. Driving up you will see the most spectacular views breath taking! Once you arrive at the top you can almost hear the yodelling! The restaurant is in the middle of the French mountains and surrounded by cows all dingling as they walk and graze with their bells around their necks. Such a beautiful, serene surrounding. The moment spent there high on the superb terasse then warm in all serenity in the heated room with wood stove was out of time. Start with a nice hike of 50min to enjoy the quiet on the surrounding sublime alpages there and continue with a beer and a delicious 4-course menu it is the assurance of a very beautiful evening, especially thanks to the excellent waitress: Rising at the end of the day and enjoying the sunset to descend to the frontal it was a treat. What a place! A beautiful mountain restaurant rythmed by the cow bells. The staff is very friendly, the interior and the exterior are beautiful. The melt was a little liquid but everything else was super, digestive offered, nothing to say! A bit difficult to access but it allows to keep a beautiful place preserved! I recommend. (The menu often changes and is not listed on the site)
I am a regular visitor of the chalet and love it every time. If you want to get fresh air and great food this is a must to visit. From here you are a few steps from walks on the Parmelan and splendid views of Mont Blanc from the summit. It is difficult to find such good food at the value for money is excellent. It opens around end of May when the snow has melted.

After a long trek up the stony track we reached this marvellous chalet. Very warm welcome in the most beautiful surroundings. Food was not a disappointment being well served, delicious local fare. No choice on Sundays but their menu was perfect. No bank cards. One of our most enjoyable meals in the Savoie.
An authentic restaurant, generous and tasty cuisine, nice reception, excellent price ratio! But don't go there, I like to be quiet the top, listen to the cow bells by sipping a refreshment or messing with colleagues
I was served by a very nice little girl. The frame is beautiful. It's good to sit down and eat a little bit by descending from Parmelan.
Mountain chalet in a rural setting. Very friendly staff and good dishes. I strongly recommend this place
