We had lunch here as a family of 8 and really enjoyed ourselves. The sun was shining which made it perfect for relaxing and watching the skiers on the slopes above while enjoying the meal. The location is really ideal. If you're skiing it is right at the top of the Chavannes gondola, which you pick up from the centre of Les gets. If you wanted to drive up there is a windy road and takes about 10 mins from town.The atmosphere is very good as there was loads of people about all enjoying themselves. The service was hit or miss, but that is expected when you are in the French Alps. One waiter could be lovely and smiling and the other ignores you. That's just the way it goes.I'd definitely recomm...
Food is OK. Not really "French" in the classical sense other than onion soup. A few local alpine specialties, good burgers. Nice ambience. Does not take reservations - unless you are staying there. Best tables kept for chalet guests (which is understandable) but something good to know if you just want to stop for lunch. Also, they will not give you a table unless all of your party is present. So if for example you are 6 and 2 are 5 min away, even if 4 of you are there first you might lose the last table for 6 if another party shows up before your stragglers get there. The main front of house woman was particularly unfriendly.
We have visited many times over the years and this restaurant never disappoints. Sitting outside on the terrace delivers great views as well as great people watching! Highlights are their salads showcasing regional specialities. Salad chèvre chaud and salad chevanne with reblechon toasts and local smoked ham are both delightful. When accompanied by a half bottle of rose, it doesn't get much better. The excellent staff team work at a million miles an hour but madam in charge makes sure that everything runs seamlessly. If you are in Les Gets, make sure you visit.
After a superb meal 4 years ago we returned again as we were back in Les Gets skiing. Enjoyed a salad meal and carpaccio of beef. Huge portions of perfectly presented food. teenagers very happy with steak / burger. made most welcome. Nice ambiance with a display of old farm equipment on a mezzanine floor. The piped pop music didn't quite suit the ambiance but that was the only flaw.

Always busy, Le Croix Blanche doesn't take reservations so get everyone to arrive together and seating is normally quick and straightforward. Very French in attitude and clientele the food is competently of good quality
We have visited La Croix on and off over 10 years or so. Excellent food and while the service can often depend on who you get the experience in the round is always great, outside or in.
Just across the road from Chalet Yeti , lies the La Croix Blanche ,what a fantastic place ,everything was spot on, i had the best steak of my life ,the chef is fantastic
Visited for a friends wedding reception and was really impressed by the superb service and food. The location is amazing and I would thoroughly recommend to all!

Once we visited we couldn't stay away. Friendly staff. Smoked Salmon was one of the best. Sea Bass delish. Definitely will return this winter. ????????
Of the typical restaurants up the mountain this is very reasonable Good value for money, tasty food and friendly service Well worth visiting
