As a local, I was delighted that a cafe offering food of such a high standard had opened within walking distance of my home, but the food and coffee and other beverages at Chapter 27 are so good I would be prepared to drive miles for them.Their breakfasts (all day) have been consistently good - beautifully cooked and presented, with very fresh ingredients. Likewise lunch offerings. I love their mushroom dish. I had gotten takeout coffee from this place before and was not impressed, but the dine-in dirty chai was amazing! The zucchini and corn fritters were crispy, the poached eggs were cooked perfectly, and the beer-battered chips were delicious. The chicken in the burger was crispy with flavorful aioli, but the processed cheese was disappointing.
The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was friendly. The restaurant is in a great location with easy parking. The coffee was delicious and paired well with the creative dishes. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend this local cafe, it has a high rating in my book.

I have visited Chapter Twenty Seven twice already and will definitely be going back! The staff is friendly and helpful, and the coffee is excellent! The food is delicious and beautifully presented.

I ordered half regular and half crispy for the $20 fill up. The half crispy just looked burnt and not crispy whatsoever.
