Great food, lovely friendly service, simple basic fit out. Saturday night dining, they were super quiet which was nice, you could have a conversation. Menu is different, we didn't really understand why they would serve mac and cheese with most dishes, we requested they leave that off and they happily obliged, really lovely service. Food is grilled meats, fabulous ribs, buffalo wings, German sausage and sauerkraut, lovely simple fresh salads, all super well priced and delicious. The only dissapointing thing I can say is they don't allow BYO wine and their wine consists of one Red or one White so if you enjoy wine as we do there's a limited choice of two. Somethings are really good and good value / others not. The Brisket plate is good, tasty, nice sides, big enough to share and good value. The "Taster" or share plate, with two pieces of each meat for $25 is not worth it. The ribs are tasty, the chips are good, the cheese Mac is good. The grilled corn was terrible.It is definitely worth trying as there are some good things on offer. The atmosphere is clean, sharp and relaxed and the staff are very nice. You can have a drink (too expensive) but still adds to the offering.
First night in Burleigh Heads and we just wanted a no fuss great feed. And that's what we got.It's no restaurant, it's more a cafe, super simple, with one bottle of red and white to choose from and a few beers. Put simply you go here for the meat. And my pick was the Lamb Ribs. Never had lamb like it.The platter was massive and the peri peri chicken got rave reviews. Little tough to chose for the kids, but they were well satisfied with sausages and chips.
Most of the Gold Coast restaurants/Cafes serve Mexican/pizzas, this cafe is a nice change with bbq plates of meat, chicken, lamb all cooked to perfection. The plates look small though they are just right for lunch and dinner. I had the Cajun Blackened catfish with a delicious Sirarcha Mayo, last time I had this dish was in the Caribbean.Staff are super friendly, would recommend

Delicious as always with everything these girls do. It might look a little sterile inside but the food is definitely not! Packed full of flavour and home made flatbread is so yum!Travels well if you get a take away as well. Really yummy BBQ. Highly recommended
We spent a couple of days eating from this place. Sit in was a feast of chr grille delights and the takeaway was sensational. Great staff, fantastic food and easy going atmosphere. Definitely going back more often.
Went here the other night and have to say I was pretty impressed with the food. Is quite a relaxed little joint so no need to dress up. Definitely worth checking out, especially if you're a fan of some BBQ
Went here late one fri evening, lovely helpful, cheery staff. Very friendly, enjoy what they do. Food was delicious. Certainly worth a try. We will go back.

We loved this restaurant, so simple and yet so different. The food was delicious, between us all we covered most meats. The service was outstanding.
