Asked a few friends for recommendations of nice restaurants in Fremantle and this one was bought up a couple of times so thought why not give it a shot.Greeted by a warm smile and friendly service we found our table and were offered the menu- drinks and food. Can I make a point of saying how friendly the French waiter with a beard and glasses was. He knew his stuff and nothing was a hassle for him.We both ordered the scotch fillet steak and it has definately made our top 5 places to eat. We weren't left waiting hours for food, it was promptly out to us within 25 minutes which for a steak well done and a few sides I thought was brilliant. I have waited elsewhere up to 50 minutes. Went to Char Char Bull for our anniversary dinner and as always the team didn't disappoint. The reservation process is always quick and efficient... (we called); the welcome was great and very friendly; the table was perfectly set and as requested and they even welcome us with a champagne drinks. The trout appetizer was great and buttery, the bread was delicious. The wait staff was friendly and efficient along with knowing the difference between being "in your face" all the time and not being around at all. The steak and fish mains where delicious and perfectly cooked... my better half loves the whiskey peppercorns sauce!!! The dessert was delicious albeit a bit on the big side... happy to r...
Great location especially for lunch. Have been several times over time and the food, although not 'brilliant', is none the less, of a generally high standard with plenty of menu choice and a good selection of wines and beer. I have gone away each time thinking 'that was nice'. The staff are always professional, friendly and efficient and the place gives off a good vibe. I would recommend it as a nice place to have a good meal in a 'touristy' location. What more could you ask for.
Very enjoyable lunch, great food, great service, would definitely come back again. It was my birthday and they very kindly offered me a glass of complimentary champagne which was lovely. I had the crab and clam linguine, which was a touch oily for my tastes, but very flavoursome. The kids meals were very generous and had trouble finishing them. Had lunch with 2 other couples. Very professional,friendly staff. Make good G&T, good wine list and food was really yummy. The Linguine was the nicest I've had in years. Perfectly cooked,fresh fresh clam and perfect flavours. The outside area wasn't open as they are extending the deck so will be brilliant when finished. Lovely setting on the Freemantle harbour looking at the boats. We will happily return
To begin with, the staff do justice to this place as well as the food of course. We had an unforgettable night. We were made very welcome, the food was absolutely delightful. It ended with the BEST sticky date pudding I have ever tasted and I've had many -lol. It was devine. I would have gone seconds on this one but was full. A very satisfying night. Thankyou
My husband and I had dinner here last night my gold band snapper meal very tasty cooked to perfection. My husband had sirloin steak very tender and cooked to he's liking..The staff very attentive and extremely pleasant. Our waiter was very professional and made sure we didn't want for anything at all times. Than you Cha Char Bull for a great night.

Le restaurant Char Char se situe sur le port. Le personnel a l’écoute du client et parlant français. La viande était cuite à la perfection, dessert très bon. A conseiller.
