What a great little place for daytime catchups with friends, family or groups. It is basically a deli with a serviced little restaurant area at the rear, both internal and external. It is purely a daytime restaurant with great meals ranging from the standard steak and chips to the more exotic Italian or great fish dishes (all off the blackboard). You order the meal and then you go to the counter and order the delicious looking salad you want with your order. This is then served at your table by the wonderful friendly staff. All the meals (including steaks and quality fish (Barramundi) are all in the $20 -$25 range and cooked and displayed to perfection. Another great feature is it is BYO and...
Very popular cafe/restaurant. We arrive around 1.00pm and the place was pretty full. Reasonable selection of food and cakes etc. except for lactose or gluten free products. This is usual for most cafes/restaurants, which is damned annoying if you have an intolerance or allergy to these items. The service was good and the cost reasonable. The staff were very good at choosing a ready made item that could be "modified" to remove gluten and lactose items.
Simply incredible food! Best shop baked muffins on the planet! Blueberry are gob smacking yum, and the fetta and spinach muffins are incredibly delicious. The daily blackboard lunch menu is great and offers fantastic value. The calamari is awesome. The hot pastries and tarts are great, and the fresh daily salads are healthy and tasty. The coffee is great too, so all round the best cafe in Perth I reckon. Service is also top notch. Its a gem!
We popped in for some breakfast and decided to share a big breakkie so we could have one of the muffins too. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was tasty, and quick. The muffin was fresh and fluffy. When the breakfast came out they had split it for us so we each had our own - so no fighting over things :) these little things make a difference. Visiting from Melbourne so looking for a nice cafe for coffee and breakfast. Thought we would try this place. Absolutely excellent!! A real find and at least as good as the best we have found in Melbourne. Newspapers, good cafe and good food at reasonable prices with good friendly service. So good we have been back several times during our stay. Excellent !!
The deli sells a great range of food, freshly prepared and nicely presented. Popped into the restaurant for coffee and was tempted by the delicious looking muffins. Not disappointed as they were delicious. A great little eatery with the added bonus of being BYO.
Always enjoy their salad rolls made fresh to order with a great ratio of toppings. My Mum gets their cakes occasionally and says they are great. Have been coming here on and off for years, glad to say the quality hasn't changed.

Best passionfruit sponge cake, mouth watering thinking about it This is a daytime cafe worth visiting.
