Had dinner last night. Friendly and attentive staff, creative and personable owner. From apps through dessert each course was perfectly prepared, presented and delicious. Tried the fried oysters, arugula-chick pea-fried shallot and parmesan cheese salad, crab cakes, scallops, key lime pie and crème brûlée. Each item had a unique flavor. Even the side dishes were hot and flavorful. The ahi tuna tartar was one of the best apps I’ve ever had. A great experience, will highly recommend and will return soon. Service: 5 Location: 5
I don't think there's enough space in Google reviews to explain how incredible this restaurant is. From the stunning views of the Delaware Bay to the exceptional customer service, our dinner here was one of a kind. Not to mention the food was incredible. We had clams and linguine, steak, salmon, cod, and scallops all the best we've ever had. For dessert. We had their key lime pie which was the best we've ever had. Extraordinary is really the only word needed to describe the Charlesworth Hotel and Restaurant. We ate here twice while on vacation. The food was perfect. However what stood out was the service. Staff smiling enjoying what they are doing. Ownership completely engaged in the delivery of the customer experience. An that is exactly what will have us returning next yeah as our vacation back to the area is already booked.
My wife and I decided to have dinner here after family pictures and by far one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I had the pasta primavera and it was excellent!. The kids had kid meals with Mac n cheese they raved about. The owner was always checking on us and making sure we were good. The view of the Delaware Bsy at sunset is camera worthy. The Charlesworth has the best food, the best ambience, and Amy and Sybil Are the best host that you could ever find anywhere. This is a gem that South Jersey has. I had a wonderful experience on mother's day , Syboll and his sister Amy where gracious hosts. Not only did this charming restaurant have great ambience and beautiful views of the bay the food was delicious and presented beautifully. I can't wait to come back again and share this restaurant with my friends. Highly recommend.
beautiful evening at the water, great culinary experience. can not say enough good things about the help. they were excellent without being overlaid. the food was excellent. make sure they save space for dessert! we shared a banan bread pudding that was fabulous!
