She presented a total that included a suggested tip, which felt inappropriate since tips should be optional, but I overlooked it at first. After the meal, I paid for the food and tax and added a few extra dollars as a tip. I thought that was generous for a cheap meal, but apparently, it wasn't enough for her, and she asked for more. Uncle Charley is very welcoming; he even offered to wait for a group that called him, despite being close to closing time. The restaurant is child-friendly, providing modified chopsticks for kids, which is a nice touch. The noodle portions are just right—not too big and slightly smaller than the average in this area, making it easy to enjoy without feeling overwhelmed. I highly recommend this place over other options in the Bay Area!
