Charlie's Corner La Baule

Our experience was horrible the DJ doing karaoke insulted us group of IRISH people and banned us from SINGING on KARAOKE NIGHT because we weren’t up to the standards of the IRISH bar. Confused as to why he might reject a large group of loyal customers. With that said, the female manager was a wonderful bar tender and hopefully she will succeed in her career without the burden of an ignorant DJ forcing customers to leave her house establishment. I hope the workers in this pub will read this and realise that Irish culture is about inclusivity and being friendly.

An Irish pub that is not welcome for the Irish let alone anyone. The manager on the bar was super and very kind, but the man in charge of the karaoke was extremely rude and made everyone feel unwelcome and unwanted in the pub, so we left early because of his behaviour. Unfortunate as the female manager was very accommodating and understanding with great customer service. I doubt I will return.

Nice enough, but god! They know how to charge!!! Pint of Guinness, vodka and orange, 16 euros!!!!
