I spotted the burger sign and decided to drop in, which turned out to be a wonderful surprise. After browsing the menu, I chose the Hoppin’ Jalapeño Burger, cooked medium rare, topped with a perfectly fried egg! I asked to hold the pickles, as I didn’t want them to overshadow the lightly battered and fried jalapeños. What an experience! Cowabunga, dude! Welcome to Texas! Just a heads up: this burger is quite spicy, and you have to be 18 or older to enjoy it!
I’m usually hesitant to give low ratings to small businesses, but I can’t recommend visiting Charlie’s Old Fashioned Burgers for lunch unless you’re ready to wait a long time for your food. It would be much better if they informed customers about any kitchen delays before taking orders.
Charlie's Old Fashioned Burgers features a trendy atmosphere with chic decor, but the burger itself was disappointing. Perhaps it was an off day, but the seasoning on the patty didn’t taste like a classic hamburger at all. I felt it was both overpriced and too heavily seasoned.
The service was exceptional and fast. The chicken fried steak was real, not some processed unknown meat! It was crispy, hot, and tender. The BLT was huge and tasty too! The hand-cut fries were excellent. I give it 5 stars! Definitely a place to eat! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
