We looked at the reviews before coming here and notice such a mix. So we decided to just go for it and make our own judgement since we were in the area and walked by it a lot. I really wanted to like it, and maybe they were having an off day? But here's my review: 1) drinks: ordered 2 pineapple juice (I like juice ok lol)...let's just say it tasted really funky. Like it was spoiled and they added club soda to it. So then it tasted like Kombucha. I gave it a 0 stars. 2) fried eggs rolls- it was crispy. But the fillings were soggy and had no flavor. Gave it a 2 star. 3) pad Thai- it was ok. The tofu tasted a bit off and too spongy. The flavor was mediocre but not bad at the same time. 3 stars...
I went on a Friday afternoon about 1 PM to have lunch with a friend. I was surprised at how empty the restaurant was for that time of day and day of the week. Not necessarily a good sign. Parking was relatively easy to find also, which was great. Given that there was only one other patron in the restaurant we received prompt service. I ordered the pads for you which is what I get regularly. When I go to TY Thai restaurants. I asked for extra broccoli. This place is an absolute hidden gem! Unfortunately all of the other reviews seem subpar, however, our experience has been nothing but astounding. The service is excellent with the kind waitress. The spiked Thai tea is a must have as well as the papaya salad and curries. My family and I visited twice within 2 days it was so good! Everything cooked to perfection and seasoned very well. Please stop by if you are in the DC area! P.S. the chef's wife makes a homemade coconut ice cream that is a must try!
My first experience and I had the drunken noodles. I asked for spicy and it was actually quite spicy! This is appreciated, because most places will not turn up the heat for fear of having to remake the food if it's too spicy. Overall, the dish was not over salted and had a rich umami. The red peppers were crisp and sweet and the scallions were fresh and on point the chicken was tender and delicious. I look forward to trying additional items on the menu highly recommend.

Average Thai experience. The waitress provided pleasant service that was above average for today’s standards. The Pad Thai with beef was just average; the beef was lean, but the dish lacked distinct flavors, making it hard to appreciate the individual ingredients. I ordered it "Thai hot," which was spicy but not overwhelmingly so—definitely enough to notice. The ambiance feels like a cozy café, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. They also have a full bar.
Still delicious! The Pad Thai lunch special is a budget-friendly treat. The drunken noodles are fantastic. I could enjoy Thai food every day. MealPal and Charm Thai make that dream (almost) a reality!
The service was awesome. We were seated quickly and our orders were taken. The food came out fast and was great! I definitely recommend to come here for a meal and will be sure to come back again!
I ordered from DoorDash and was really impressed. The eggplant with mixed vegetables had a wonderful level of spice and flavor. The tofu drunken noodles were sautéed perfectly and tasted amazing.

Got horrible food poisoning after eating the vegetable tofu Massaman Curry from here! Would not recommend.
