We love the food, everything from the delicious chicken nachos, to the salads, seasoned fries to Moe 's potato. Not only that, the service is top notch from the super friendly 'Erica ' at the register to Aziz, the owner. Aziz is such a fun person to talk with and you can tell he absolutely loves what he does, and supports his staff. Costa Mesa Charo Chicken will always be our goto. The seasoning on those fries... OMG, sooooo good. Did I say the fries were amazing already? Trust me... those fries dipped in that delicious dressing they provide with the BBQ chicken salad... Having visited this restaurant for about three years, I was confident he was mistaken. I mentioned there should be a spicy sauce, and he still insisted his choice was correct. I was left speechless, feeling like I was talking to a brick wall. Eventually, I took the sauce, but when I tasted it outside, it turned out to be not spicy at all—just oily or buttery. I ended up throwing it in the trash.
I was really frustrated that the cashier didn’t understand what I meant by "it’s the wrong sauce." If the staff can’t even provide the sauce I request, which is essentially why I keep going back, then what’s the point of returning?
I order takeout from here often and the food is great. But what I cannot say enough is how great the service is. They rarely make a mistake on the order and the one time they did, they were so apologetic, made up for it beyond and were still apologetic. I came back a month later, I got free quac and chips and more apologies. I continue to go here because we like the food but honestly, it's the service that keeps me loyal. It's nice to actually have a place that you can rely that when you get home and open your bag, what you ordered will be there.

As for the service, the staff were friendly and assisted me in selecting my meal. The establishment was also clean, which I appreciated.
Final note: I paid $15 for the three-piece meal, but it doesn’t come with a drink, which I think it should for that price.
Parking: There are 40 spaces available.
I loved this place. I got a two piece baked chicken combo that was stupendously delicious. It had a lemon light sauce and paprika dusting that was nearly gourmet. The sides weren’t skimpy. It wasn’t cheap but typical fast food isn’t much less. Check out the photos.
DELICIOUS!! the chicken was so flavorful and moist with the best seasoning. It was my first time coming here but I’ll be back.Don’t sleep on the beans!!! They were the best beans I’ve had in a looooong time.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! This is, without a doubt, the best Charo Chicken I've ever visited. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding! Food rating: 5/5

Customer service horrible. Nobody in front when we got in and when attended women was rude and not helpful. There's ways to talk and explain things to customers.
I went here for the first time 45 minutes ago: 3PM 4/18. I ordered the lemon garlic half chicken for $11.99 w/3 tortillas. I loved it.
