The food was not done well. The spinach artichoke dip was bland, not cheesy, and covered in bread crumbs. We wanted raw veggies instead of bread or chips and were told that was not possible. Almost everything we asked for was denied. Our steak was well-done in parts, and med-well in the very center. We asked for medium with char. They offered to remake the steak, but we have a personal issue with remade food. A place that serves steaks every hour of every day should not have to remake a steak. The blue cheese topping on the steak was the best part of the meal. The potatoes served with the salmon were inedible. They wouldn't substitute the potatoes for another side without charging an upcharg...
we ate our meals in the chart house. everything was very good. about $250 for dinner for two with drinks and a few extras. a bit expensive for no to-the-for-experience, but still very good. is likely to be restarted with another special occasion.
My shrimp and Grits arrived cold, the shrimp were very tough and overdone. The manager was very apologetic and removed the item from our bill. Our server was John, he was excellent. He did nor bring us the dishes a helper did.
