We ordered a variety of items: cutlet, aloo tikki chaat, Punjabi vegetable with bhature, and a mango mastani milkshake. The cutlet was slightly bland and a bit soggy, needing more seasoning, but the mint chutney served alongside it was outstanding! The aloo tikki chaat was phenomenal, with all the flavors perfectly balanced. It was a fantastic blend of potatoes for carbohydrates and chickpeas for protein, resulting in a hearty portion that's quite filling for dinner. The Punjabi vegetable served with bhature was equally delightful. While the bhature was a tad thick in the center, it was well-cooked and crispy in other spots. I ordered the Palak Pakora and the Puri Puff with dry masala, expecting to receive the golden brown Pakoras I saw. However, when I got to my car and checked my order, I found that the Pakoras were deep dark brown. I returned to the counter, claiming they were burnt, and was given a replacement. Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized that my new order had also been refried; this time, the Palak Pakora was half dark and half cold. The taste was quite disappointing. My replacement order also consisted of Pakoras that were a mix of half refried, dark ones, and some that were cold, while the Puri Puff with dry masala was golden brown but also cold. Most dishes are under $7, with the most expensive item priced at $10.95. If you're unfamiliar with Indian cuisine, just point at a picture and give it a try. I returned to this location again and ordered the Thali and Dosa. The Dosa was loaded with jalapeños, so if you enjoy spicy food, this is definitely for you. I intended to order a lassi, which is a yogurt drink, but I mistakenly received Pakora, which are delicious fried vegetable fritters. On my way home, I stopped by the Indian grocery store and picked up a half-gallon of lassi to soothe the heat in my mouth!
One of the best vegetarian Indian restaurants in Atlanta. Been here so many times but never dropped a review. Fast casual type dining (order and sit down or take to-go). The food is made fresh to order. My go-tos are the chili paneer/paneer 65, Manchurian, and samosa chaat. The paneer is always crispy and all the food has amazing flavors. This is the most disorganized Indian restaurant I've ever been to. You place your order, pay, and then sit down while hoping that your food will arrive within an hour—if it even arrives. They serve items one at a time. The prices are reasonable, but the service is terrible. The waitstaff seem to just be standing around, giving off the impression that they want you to "eat quickly and leave" so they can seat someone else. I would not recommend this place!
This restaurant offers some of the most incredible Indian food I've ever tasted. I've visited many places, but none have matched the authentic flavor of Indian street food quite like this one. They truly excel in their offerings. The menu is extensive, featuring a wide variety of Indian chaat, snacks, curries, and beverages. My personal favorites are the Khandvi and the Mango Lassi.
Had chat, not very crowded. Service is good, they have a wide range of options to choose. We had Dhokla, that was good. The special fried rice was good too. Pav Bhaji was awesome. Bhel puri was pathetic and so was pani puri. The pani was not tasty, missed both the tangy and hot taste. Will probably try something else next time.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant and deeply regret choosing to try it. The Indian pizza dosa had no cheese at all, and the sandwich was a complete disaster. Great food but spicy. Variety of food available and service is very quick. Friendly staff and overall a great experience. Masala Chaas is definitely a try.
