We had dinner there and everything about the experience was first rate. From the setting - which is as spectacular as the photographs suggest - to the welcome, the service and the food. Really, there's nothing to criticise.The tasting menu was superb: 7 courses at €130. For two of our party the stand-out dish was the foie gras with walnut & sesame crust, for the others it was the risotto with celery, truffles and poached egg. That said the lobster was amazing. So here's the tiniest of criticisms - having said there was nothing to criticise - by the time I got to the millefeuille de boeuf & foie gras I was full. I managed about half of the dish. Friends suggested we had Sunday lunch as it is so special and we decided to really treat ourselves and have an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast we were celebrating a special anniversary. From the moment we arrived the staff made our stay so special,...our beautiful room with jacuzzi bath, fabulous views and rose petals and swans was stunning. Dinner was excellent and again the staff were on hand without being intrusive, and the owner Stephanie met everyone. Memorable moments the cappuccino soup, the choux pastry cheese, the black pudding balls, the chicken, and the amazing selection of cheese. Le sud ouest est vraiment le paradis de la gastronomie.Le maitre d'hôtel très à l'écoute nous installe et le menu expliqué nous rêvons a sur la superbe terrasse en surplomb de la terrasse.Le service est discret et efficace,Le sommelier de bon conseil.Les présentations sont très soignées,les mises en bouche festives et délicieuses .Cependant les plats nous ont paru un peu en deçà de ce que l'on pouvait escompter gustativement parlant . Mais la magie était la et la qualité également.ce que l'on attend à ce prix !
It's not the cheapest but it is one of the best around for that special occasion. Delightful setting for lunch or dinner, inside or out with impeccable service and fun staff. Food presentation is superb and a walk in the gardens afterwards rounds it off. What's not to like?

Nous avons pris le grand menu, après un des cocktails sur la terrasse ou le chef de rang est venu nous présenter le menu, nous sommes passés à table. Une Explosion de Saveurs sur tous les plats proposés, des alliances parfaites. Une très belle carte des Vins.
A must eat place. Excellent menu and excellent staff. Great, reasonable wine selection. We did the prefix. The truffles egg was amazing. The beef excellent too. It books up so make your reservations far in advance.
une explosion en bouche un service irréprochable saveur décor tout est magique je recommande aussi pour les affaires qu entre ami et même en famille puisqu un menu est spècifiquement prèvu pour nos petits
Un délicieux moment Dans un cadre magnifique au dessus de la Dordogne nous avons dégusté des mets fins et raffinés accompagnés d un personnel à l écoute . Merci pour ce merveilleux déjeuner !!!!
