I had the opportunity to have a family party in this beautiful setting and I admit that this place is ideal. A parking sufficient to park some fifty cars, a dining room, another to dance, a room to prepare with dishwasher, fridge, plate... At room level, the Henri IV suite is beautiful with a whirlpool tub and two sinks. The other rooms are spacious enough for a couple and a small family. The castle also has 3 buses renovated in the bedroom: one is planned for a couple with a double bed, a bathroom area and toilet, a table for lunch; the other two are provided for a family of 4 with two single beds and a double bed, shower and toilet. Marriage 10/06/23 Our wedding at the Château de Matel was just perfect, certainly the good weather was there but especially Olivier who was able to be dispo, present and reassuring throughout this weekend, thanks to him Adapted reception room, great associated accommodations to enjoy the place and guests the next day I recommend it to the bottom!
A great hotel, very nice, quiet location, Rooms beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful with lots of tips for exploring the surrounding area. Delicious breakfast on the terrace and a great pool. We felt very comfortable and recommend it without reservation!
Nice location. You can walk straight through the garden, along the channel in the area. host is very kind. Eat well and more than enough. The castle is original and well established. I'll pay you more than I thought. For weddings, this castle is very suitable. I had a great time. Rader!

I married my daughter to the castle of matel, we spent a wonderful evening everything was perfect of the wine of honor that everyone enjoyed at the meal.Very good catererer, fabulous area that all the guests loved. place to recommend.
