this is an extraordinary visit for Bordeaux wine lovers because they can actually see how the cooperatives make from the training college barrels. the weinberg is surrounded by the training facilities and it is an amazing experience to see how the icy wood is adapted to make weaese without any form of glue. they will also discover how to throw the wood on different ways to create a weak or strong woody taste for the weeping held in the barrels.
Well worth a visit just to see how this integrates a truly working vineyard with a hand-on-learning experience for students in the connected winemaking school. Our leader Nicolas was also a student at the same place many years ago! The wines are also good, the Nuance de Dillon and the Crémant really liked.
Magnificent winery that produces the Château Dillon, a quality Haut-Médoc. Its exploitation is ensured by Blanquefort's agricultural high school nursery of future oenologists.
