Chatsworth Afternoon Tea

We had an excellent meal at Cavendish Restaurant, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Everything was outstanding, but if I had to pick out one extra-special aspect, it would be the service. This was our first visit, but I have a feeling that we’ll be back. We liked the small set menu. This must mean that the chefs can concentrate on cooking a small range of dishes really well, rather than having to field requests for 20 or 30 dishes. We also liked the fact that the items on the menu do change a number of times during the year.

Belated celebration with my Mum and sister for Mum’s birthday. Friendly service, calm surroundings, delicious food, excellent tea and coffee with wide choice. Lovely traditional afternoon tea without all the unnecessary ‘extras’ that seem to be appearing on other menus. Felt really special. The quality of the food/ingredients also first class. Pricing means probably most appropriate for a special occasion, but that’s exactly what we wanted. All round excellent!

Stunning location and restaurant, our afternoon tea was beautifully presented and tasted delicious, and the doggy bags we took home kept the experience going .

Our waitress was extremely pleasant and made good recommendations. We all enjoyed our visit to the Cavendish Restaurant
