The menu featured an impressive range of options! I tried the Karne Picante and the artichoke empanadas. While the artichoke empanadas could use a touch more seasoning, I noticed that the filling and crust didn’t really harmonize; they felt like separate components instead of a cohesive dish. Nevertheless, the highlight for me was undoubtedly the chocolate-covered Alfajore—it was incredible! It reminded me of a gourmet version of a car wheel.
There are plenty of choices available! I sampled the spicy meat and artichoke empanadas. The artichoke could definitely use a bit more seasoning. I also wished that the filling and crust harmonized better, as they felt more like two separate components instead of a cohesive dish. The highlight for me was the chocolate-covered alfajore—it was incredible, reminiscent of a gourmet wagon wheel.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly. The empanadas were still delicious even after I reheated them at home for lunch the following day. I highly recommend trying them with the spicy sauce for dipping.
