I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. On the positive side, I really enjoyed the Painkiller drinks, and the Coconut Shrimp were outstanding. In fact, all the food was great, except for our appetizer—the Cheese Curds, which were a letdown. Unfortunately, the Coconut Shrimp has been removed from the menu. Our server, Brooke, was fantastic; she even checked with the kitchen to get us the Coconut Shrimp made, despite it being off the menu. However, while Brooke was attentive, the overall wait time was quite disappointing—20 minutes to be seated, 10 minutes before our drink orders were taken, and another 30 minutes for the appetizer to arrive. We had to ask several times about the Painkill...
Generally, the food here is consistently excellent, but the service can vary. I'm considering ordering a family bundle for takeout in the future.
Overall, while the food remains good, I was a bit let down by this visit, so I've decided to lower my rating to 2 stars. The service was sluggish, and the staff wasn't very friendly. The food was served at an odd temperature, and the chicken tenders were a bit tough. It was also disappointing that the server didn’t follow up with us; we wanted dessert but were never offered it. It felt like they didn’t care about earning a good tip. With plenty of other dining options nearby, I'll likely look for somewhere else to eat next time.

Overall, the food was up to par, but with our favorite dish no longer available, coupled with the staff's organization and the lengthy wait times, we don’t plan to return and wouldn't feel comfortable recommending it to others.
I was disappointed by the restaurant that advertised homemade food; everything was overly salty, and nothing seemed fresh. The corn on the cob was clearly canned. I don't plan on going back. The only highlight was the honey croissant, which I enjoyed. Our server seemed either forgetful or indifferent to his job. Although he appeared to have some experience, his service left a lot to be desired.

The food was excellent, but the service was lacking. Our server didn't check on us at all and didn't even ask if we wanted dessert. We had to request refills on our water and desserts from other staff members. Additionally, the dinner salad arrived only after we had finished our main courses. Unfortunately, I can't recommend Mark for the level of service typically expected at Cheddar's.
I love this restaurant for its diverse menu, generous portions, and excellent low prices. I was disappointed when the location in Brandon, FL, closed, but now that I'm in St. Pete, I eat there or pick up food regularly. Their red beans and rice are the best, and I really enjoy their chicken tenders. I recently tried the grilled salmon and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.
We truly love Cheddars! The home-cooked meals are fresh and tasty. The menu features entrees that are made from scratch every day. I had the most delicious chicken fingers, and my friend tried the chicken steak. Everything was amazing! I particularly miss those onion rings.
My mother came here to celebrate her final radiation treatment. She ordered the sirloin and was extremely pleased with both the food and the service. I had the combination dish, and the smile on her face was even bigger.

One of my father's favorite restaurants. We visited recently, and I ordered the full rack of ribs. The portion was larger than I expected, and they were cooked to perfection. I left feeling full and very satisfied!
