Went to cheddars for my wife’s birthday today. Started off bad party of 6 was going to set us down in a booth not big enough. We asked for a larger booth a girl setting us had an attitude because we wanted a larger booth. Said had to seat where they had servers and a little nippy. Some of us are larger people and wanted more space. She didn’t check there was a person serving at the booth we wanted. She never apologized. Now the food. Food was not fresh none of it was hot. Had been setting around I think! My wifes breading on shrimp was soggy! We did like this place won’t be back for a long while!! Wonder why restaurants go belly up hmmm! Stopped for the night while traveling I 75 and decided to go here for dinner. We were seated right away upon entering. They were busy but not packed. Our server, Megan, was one of the better we have had. She made the visit very enjoyable. The whitefish and sirloin were very good, but not quite great. The overall 'vibes ' of the restaurant were good and we would visit here again.
The food was good but the place was filthy. Came in around 12 and not very full restaurant at all. Tables were gross. Seats filled with crumbs. Floor filled with crumbs. Told my boyfriend I almost didn't want to eat there but we were traveling from Tennesse. I don't think I've seen fast food his filthy. Waitress was nice but kind of rushing for it to be so slow.
Arrived at 11 am. Ordered the onion rings and cheeseburger lunch special. Received great onion rings, 40 minutes cheeseburger finally came out out with cold cheese. We immediately had it taken off our bill and left! Our waitress was great, but she was very disappointed the way things were going in the kitchen. Won't be back. Second visit disappointed! We used to really enjoy this restaurant, but it's declined significantly. They aren't seating diners outside anymore, and they mixed up our orders. Everything arrived at once—salad, bread rolls (which you now have to ask for), and the main course. Given that it was a quiet Tuesday afternoon, I was hoping for better service.
The service was outstanding. Our waitress, Gloria, was very attentive and on top of everything, especially considering they were short-staffed that evening, which we learned as we were leaving. The food was also excellent, particularly the potato soup—I would definitely order it again!
Tonight was an off night! Cheese bites were served tasting smelling burnt but were not burnt. Cold fries were served and had to get fresh ones. Chicken tenders were luke warm and tough. Our waitress was fantastic through it all and tried to make everything right!!
Everything was served hot and delicious. Our server was new but did an excellent job. We always order the spinach dip, which we absolutely love. I had the chicken Alfredo with broccoli, while my husband went for a burger and fries. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Everything was excellent except the Caligari picture on the wall, they need to replace it with a picture of Coach Pope
