I have been here a few times, especially for the pizza, and I always take out. The pizza is great. This time we decided to eat in. What a mistake !! First of all, they need more help. The waitress seemed to be working the front desk as well. Trying to get a glass of water was a big production. We ordered an appetizer and was told that they ran out of potatoe croquettes so chef gave us more of the other items. That was fine. What surprised me was when they brought our pasta dishes, and we asked for grated cheese, the waitress said they ran out of cheese!!!. This is an Italian restaurant, how do you run out of cheese?. Ridiculous. Also, portions were small, especially for a 24.00 plate of past...
The best pizza I have ever had, like eating in Italy. They make fresh Gluten Free pasta and other dishes but do not order the Gluten free pizza it is terrible. ThIs is my new Italian place. It's unbelievably delicious. I never thought I would ever give a bad review about anything from Chef Gigi BUT DO NOT ORDER THE GLUTEN FREE PIZZA It is terrible. We stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for an Italian place nearby, and we're so glad we did! The pizza here is the best we've ever had! I can't believe my husband and I managed to finish a large pizza. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making our experience even better. We would definitely make the trip again, even though we live quite far away.
The wood-fired pizza was fantastic! The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. They don't have a wine license yet, but we were informed that you can bring your own wine. The restaurant is small, so they do a lot of takeout, but it really gives you that authentic Italian feel. Pizza was very good. We had the traditional NY -the big square pizza that I saw on One Bite- Brick oven style-charred on the edge and soft in the middle. Very good pizza. We also had a pasta dish that was also very good. BYOB. They do have nightly pasta specials and everything looked delish. Prices average.
Heard good things so I gave them a try. Not disappointed in the least bit! I just got a pizza but other stuff looked good as well. I'm a hard grader and I'd still give this a high score! Can really taste how fresh the ingredients are. I'll definitely be back!
Everything was delicious !! They are always good. NOW with the 8.2 review from Pizza President the wait may be longer but worth the wait. So give yourself time to place your order. We eat inside the restaurant and everything was fantastic.
We ordered a large pie to go, and it was probably the best pizza I’ve had in a while. Great sauce, great cheese, and the crust was nice and charred but still very soft. I could almost taste the wood fire from the oven. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Chef Gigi's Place is an intimate restaurant that serves excellent food, which tastes like it is cooked individually for you. The staff is very friendly and attentative.
