We have been coming to Chef Hannes for decades. The food is truly marvelous; some of the best you will find in LA, at an amazing price in a quaint unassuming cozy restaurant. The baked goods are all made fresh daily, and the meats and fish are superb. The vegetables are also all really good quality that you can taste. Whether an appetizer, a main, a dessert or a wine — literally nothing you order here will not be excellent. Fun fact: chef Hannes used to be Arnold Schwarzenegger’s personal chef Vegetarian options: Just ask for vegan and vegetarian options — Hannes is extremely creative and everything is fresh and flavorful. Great even for someone like me who has rather extreme food allergies....
This spaghetti with meatballs is truly exceptional—fragrant herbs, a perfectly balanced sauce, and pasta cooked al dente. It's a high-quality twist on a beloved classic. What an incredible find here in El Segundo. The flavors and love in every bite shine here. I enjoyed a delicious Italian meatloaf rested atop angel hair pasta with a pomodoro sauce. I also had an apple strudel for dessert that was mind blowing delicious. Chef Hannes personally prepares the dishes here and to have an owner chef is such a special experience in today’s world. I now have a new date night spot. Food: 5
Super good local restaurant in El Segundo, Cheff Hanes has a variety of foods from great daily soups, pastas, fish and meat. Everything has his special made sauces and it tastes really good. Wine and beer selection is good too. Kind and attentive staff, cozy atmosphere. Two dining rooms, outside patio and accommodations for bigger parties. Must visit! Service: Dine in

Food and service was amazing. Prices were very reasonable/affordable, especially for the quality of food we received. All of our plates had good combos of flavors and everyone's meat was cooked to perfection. Restaurant is super clean and relaxed, like a bistro in Europe.
