We had a wonderful birthday dinner that was truly memorable. Since we were a large group, we opted for the set menu, which turned out to be delicious. We ate so much that we took some leftovers home! Two members of our party are vegetarian, and they enjoyed the vegetarian menu, which offered plenty of delicious options. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout the evening. Overall, it was a fantastic night.
Our waiter was very considerate and suggested we limit the amount of rice we ordered to avoid wasting money on leftovers. The hot and sour soup, chicken, sweet corn soup, and spring rolls were all of the highest quality. Our main dishes—sweet and sour chicken and Thai red duck curry—were the best I’ve had since I visited China seven years ago. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend a visit to Chef Peking.
Hadn't been here in years (moved away), so feared it must surely have declined after all this time. Not just pleasantly surprised, have to say it's now one of my favourite restaurants. Food is stellar, service is good, and there's an art in keeping the place so high-quality after all this time. Can't attest to the takeaways, but if you want a really good restaurant evening then you can do worse than go here!
I really enjoyed the veggie set menu here. While I didn't specifically choose the vegan options, I believe some of them were vegan-friendly. The set menu offers a beautiful selection of different dishes, allowing you to enjoy a variety of flavors without having to overthink it. Oh this is one of my favourite Chinese/Cantonese restaurants in the area. Superb service and comes at a pace too! The dishes were excellent and so tasty, I’d say it’s around £60-£80 if you’re having starters/mains and drinks but we’ll worth it! Gets very busy so you’ll need to book on weekends. Again the service is excellent here.
Went here with my wife for a treat to celebrate international woman's day. The food was excellent, every dish was delicious and portion size was good but not great. The service was really good and overall a great dinner. It was at the top end of what we have paid to eat out Chinese, so would be more of a treat than a regular meal.
Love this place and the set menus are superb and great value too. A four course meal for the price of a steak. Can’t beat it!
