I feel horrible for leaving this review but it has to be done. This place must've changed owners because after my first visit back from a few years ago, this place seems completely different. The inside seems very messy cluttered now and the quality of food has completely went downhill. Of course this isn't your high end sushi place but after the gym, my kid and I wanted a quick bite without having to resort to a fast food place like McDonald's or something so I figured I'd give it a go. I was traveling with my daughter and she wanted to get chicken teriyaki. After seeing the good reviews we decided to come here. My daughter got chicken teriyaki I got shrimp teriyaki with noodles. You do get a lot of food it is very greasy. My noodles had a bit of too much sauce. It was really cold and drafty inside so wet tried sitting outside but there was only one table right by a busy street. It’s a good place for take out but not sitting in. The restaurant didn’t have a nice ambiance or atmosphere- it is a more order go place. We wanted a place to sit because we were flying out home so we ended up eating in a car which was a bit messy with all the sauce in my meal.
Popular Japanese fast food on Hesperian close to 92 freeway. Salmon teriyaki and California rolls were delicious (ask for extra sauce on the teriyaki! . The California rolls were enough for lunch on their own, generous portions at a steal. Expect to wait as they are always busy, even if you're told to pick up at a certain time. My experience so far is an extra 15-20 minutes at lunch. Still, it's a much-needed option in the area; price, quality, and portions are worth the wait.Parking: Small lot but the 2 restaurants here cater to mostly take out orders. If entering from Hesperian, drive through for a few more spots round the corner.

I ordered the chicken katsu bento box and found it to be reasonably priced. However, I was disappointed to receive only one small sauce cup for it, and no sauce at all for the gyoza. The flavor was almost perfect, balancing the sauce and protein well. The restaurant advertised a crunchy California roll, but I only received a regular Cali roll, which was disappointing. The store appeared to be dirty, even at the payment counter. Despite these issues, I would still rate the experience 5 stars because of the delicious taste of the food.
I won't give this restaurant as low of a rating as I normally would because it used to serve delicious rice plates and decent sushi. I haven't been back since the pandemic, but it seems like the menu has changed. I will be ordering teppanyaki plates and nigiri and will provide an update.
every time I visited, this girl was always on the phone. Customers always have to repeat what they want. usage of cell work while working need to stop . no star for service. I hope the owner gets to see this. They work hard to run business
My favorite place for Teriyaki plates in Hayward. Perfect amount of protein, carbs and fiber with veggies. Balanced meal. Customer service is direct, communicative and efficient. Location is convenient.

Waited 1 hr after ordering to receive food. They got our order wrong. Teppanyaki is like LL barbecue which I don't have a problem with bc it was still good.All the food here is take out only.Food: 4/5
If you are a fan of Salmon, you must try the Kama at this restaurant. It's the best I have ever had! Ordering online is incredibly easy and all the dishes taste fantastic!
