New on the scene and the friendly team are trying very hard! There's been a range of Scoopons and Groupons available for here for cooking classes and take-home meals. There's also Chefs for hire (hence the name). Classes took place out the back and were good fun. The cafe is well designed for the small space and although the menu is pricey (restaurant prices), there's also cabinet fare that are regular CBD cafe prices (quiche, range of rolls, muffins, etc). I liked the Groupon for 7 x meals and think they could do well providing "busy people food" for the surrounding apartment blocks (but it would be better fresh than frozen). It would give them a point of difference to the other surrounding...
The food and coffee here is amazing. It doesn't look out from the front but I cannot recommend highly enough. Had the salmon roll and the bread is some of the best I've ever had. The person next to us had a more substantial meal and it also looked great, we will be back to try more. Staff are very professional and prices reasonable. Toby's estate coffee made well too.
I ordered an iced latte here on the weekend as my local (duotone) was closed. It was terrible, they did not use the espresso machine for coffee, it's tasted like Nescafé blend 43 (and probably was)... To make it worse, the straw had some sticky gunk on and I had to wash it off when I got home. Complete waste of money.
$49: 3 Course meal for 2. It was an excellent value from Scoopon. The place didn't look posh from the outside but we felt warm and comfortable inside. Without the deal.. I don't think I could find an extraordinary place like this. For a good food we definitely will be back and pay a full price.

Der Service war durchschnittlich. Das Essen war mittelmäßig mit einer kleinen Auswahl und einem Dekor, das alt und ausgetreten war. Hatte einen Schaufel über Deal, und es gibt einen Grund, warum es so billig war. Wird nicht bald wiederkommen.

Schreckliches Dekor, Entrees - Schweine in Decke, kalter Schweinefleischbauch musste zurückschicken, Persimmon Crumble inklusive roh gerollte Hafer und nicht anders. Schlechte Anstrengung.
Ist es ein Witz ? Ich denke, der Chef ist immer noch in seinem Training, das Essen war wirklich schlimm, 20% Burn, 20% Geschmacklos, 60% ekelhaft ..... Ich denke, mein 4-jähriger Sohn könnte es 10-mal besser machen.
Service was average. Food was mediocre with a small selection and decor was old and out dated. Had a scoop on deal, and there's a reason it was so cheap. Won't be returning anytime soon.

Is it a joke ? I think the chef, is still in his training, food was really bad, 20% burn, 20% flavorless, 60% disgusting.....I think my 4 years son could do it 10 times better.
