Great food, wonderful service. My family and I (group of 3) went there for dinner on a cold and rainy Sunday evening.Ordered the lemon chicken, beef black bean, fried rice prawn crackers. All dishes were delicious, and really hit the spot. Also had some wine too, which we BYO’d. But for me the highlight was Rita our waitress, who was everything you want wait staff to be. Friendly, polite, prompt, attentive, smiling and very courteous. Rita you are wonderful, and I wish more wait staff were like you! Kudos.BH.
My old time favourite restaurant. Been going to this restaurant since I was five years old and I’m now 56 years old. Of course two lots of people have owned this restaurant and the second lot are just as good but I do miss the original owners faces. Food is great and whenever I visit it takes me back to my childhood memories sitting there with mum and dad and having my old time favourite of chicken omelette. How our tastes change. Not an overdone restaurant in decor but service is fabulous.
Love this place simple, delicious, consistent food. Best lemon chicken I've found anywhere! Our favourites are all the Western predictables sweet and sour pork, fried rice, mongolian beef, and chinese broccoli with garlic (off menu, on request). Always willing to drive 15 mins for Chen Yuen takeaway.
This Chinese restaurant is a gem, run by a family with fantastic food. It's our go-to spot in the area, with the best fried rice I've ever had. Their lunch boxes with various meat options are a great value. Whether you dine in or take away, you can't go wrong with a visit to this restaurant.

Chen Yuen has been a favorite of our family in the area for over 30 years. Our go-to dishes include Special Fried Rice, Singapore Noodles, Beef Cashews, Lemon Chicken, Steamed Dim Sims, BBQ Pork, and Mongolian Beef. The food is consistently delicious, with no fancy frills.
I really enjoy their food, it's lovely and fresh, but even better is the lovely manner of the staff. we've been going for very many years, and have had an excellent food and a good experience every time.
1st time here. Food was nice but small dishes for the chow mein and seafood claypot(only half full). Crispy chicken was a good plate size.
