I had a great experience on my first visit to Cheng Square with the General's chicken, but unfortunately, my subsequent visits have been disappointing. I decided to switch to sushi, which is usually fine, but when the restaurant is busy, the avocado isn’t ripe, which ruins the whole roll. The cucumber rolls are the only ones I could enjoy, and while the sweet potato rolls are typically delicious, on two occasions they were inedible. I really wish this place would improve their consistency. I’d love to order from them again, but I’m concerned about ending up with a bad batch when they’re busy. Additionally, the wait time is often quite long. I dined in once, and the food didn’t meet my expect...
Regardless of whether you choose to dine in or take out, I've consistently found the food to be excellent (though I personally prefer eating in). On my most recent visit, the food was served piping hot, and we were treated to complimentary fried noodles and sauce as an appetizer. The waitress was also very friendly and attentive. Food was blah just nothing special I was hoping for Chinese food but got American imitation was disappointed at how under cooked the shrimp was in the shrimp fried rice so I took them out and threw away so that was a waste chicken was nice and crispy buthad no flavor definitely not worth the price small portions and very bland
Incredible! The portion sizes for a single meal are truly outrageous. Everything was so delicious and there was so much food that I was able to take leftovers home for a hearty meal the next day! I highly recommend the boneless spare ribs with pork fried rice, orange chicken, pork fried rice, chicken wings, and egg rolls.
As always the food was excellent, and was priced appropriately. Serving size was good and the waiting time was not too long The staff was pleasant and professional. We will be back
This is by far the best Chinese food I've had in the area. The only downside is that they don't deliver to the east end of Waterbury, but it's definitely worth the drive!
Great fresh food that leaves your wallet smiling and doesn't leave you feeling bloated. This Chef cares about Wyatt they put into their food. Definitely going back.
