having forgotten my bottle of water and making 30 degrees in the shade I had to stop by the castle to take something to drink. and that was not my surprise when I saw that the small bottle of lemonade that we find at about 1.50 in store was displayed at almost 5 euros! Especially that there's no service, it's kind of self. the staff is very nice, the place clean and maintained, but the prices are really exaggerated. I think I paid less. Even the big piece of cake I took with was cheaper than my drink. the rest of the prices were just as extravagant. I want in such a place to take advantage of it but the. for the basic quality of the products it was really abused. Too bad!
lunch of July 21, 2017. to do only if we are really hungry and absolutely nothing to get under the tooth. 11,60€ the fish and chips, at last a pane-heated fish in the microwave and bad fries in soft and almost cold bags, without any seasoning or sauce. A little tartar sauce, please, that's not much, though. 1,60€ the fruit, it makes a little expensive the pomelo, if again it was good or organic ... or organic and good ....27,80€ to two, so not to redo. I'm going to try the horrible (my first and last I hope), not that I've been sick, but the castle of bloke deserves a lot better than a bad and expensive canteen.
queue of almost an hour at noon in the month of August...This restaurant is of the type cafeteria. you choose your dishes, pay before and go get them. The dishes are good, the gourmet chocolate cake but we didn't feel like eating at the castle. quality, service and the whole reminded me of the restaurants on the highway areas, perhaps partly because of the meal trays. The prices are very correct, however!
a beautiful terrace in the castle park. A rustic and family self with good products. super cake, homemade pies, dishes that envi and fresh cooked vegetables. We were 4 and all unanimously enjoyed our different dishes. a good meal for a dozen euros per head to this quality is worth it. of course the next ones are expensive (drink, coffee). Don't go for a gourmet meal, it's a self. not bad for butchering a hollow p'tit after a very nice visit to the castle of chenonceaux, but very expensive!!! ex: 1 bottle 1litre evian (fraîche) 4,30€ :( the inside is nice, outdoor terrace with large parasols. Anyway, a cool place for a little stop, that's all!
We pay clearly the fact that we can eat on the spot. the soup worthy of a hospital 5.50, coffee 2.80 !?!, frozen fries bof. brief, it confirms well the previously left reviews. a lot of tails, a staff at the slab and places not necessarily studied for such a tributary. Anyway, we don't recommend it.
After a visit, from one of the most beautiful castle of the loire, we wanted to eat with family orange. We were not disappointed.The dishes were eatable in a magnificent setting, but the bartender's attitude and disrespectful remarks towards my young girl was the negative point of our meal.

Fast service and good quick food. The choices are enough for a quick bite, and the prices are reasonable for a tourist attraction.
