Used this fish and chip shop for the first time a couple of months ago, only reason being that it was open until 10.pm where as far as I know other locals close at 9.pm or earlier. It was lovely fish and chips and also fried chicken and chips were very tasty. Would highly recommend and would not go anywhere else. Staff very polite and small portion was more than enough for us pensioners.
The fish used to have a super light and delicious batter, but unfortunately, that was not the case today. It was overcooked and had a hard, dark orange batter that seemed like it had been fried multiple times. It was not very enjoyable to eat. I am disappointed as this used to be my favorite fish and chip shop, but I am unsure about returning after today's experience.
delivery spot on as always. Chips were cold though and what was the cod? It was all batter. About 4 fork fulls of fish for £8.50. Always order from here but might think again from now on

deeply baked chicken portions were beautiful and cheap, and the staff was nice and friendly.
