I just visited this place for the first time since I'm new to the area. We absolutely love Simone's in Long Beach, but we're on the lookout for a great donut spot closer to us. Unfortunately, the donuts here were just average. It’s disappointing that you can’t order any specialty donuts when you get a dozen; I think it would be better if they charged extra for those options. We ended up getting a dozen assorted donuts plus some extra just to try the cronuts. I also noticed they only put icing and toppings on the front half of the donuts, which was a letdown. I recently visited the area and just had to pick up a box of donuts. I used to go to this place at midnight and 1 AM. The donuts were fresh, and they always have a good selection. Every single donut is delicious! Another positive aspect is that the owner and their family are incredibly friendly. I always receive excellent service with a smile. Let's continue to support this business for being a great part of the community!
I've been visiting this restaurant for decades. I remember when they were located on Florence and Orr, right behind Winchell's. They've always been friendly and actively involved in the community, donating donuts to school events from elementary through high school, as well as to city meetings and PTAs. They're genuinely good people who deserve our support. Plus, they make some really delicious donuts and coffee!
My family visited the restaurant late at night, and the service was some of the best we've had in a long time. The older gentleman who assisted us was incredibly kind and welcoming. As we approached the entrance, we could already smell the delicious donuts. The aroma inside was delightful! The donuts were definitely worth the short drive, and they tasted amazing.

Yay, finally found a nice donut shop near work! I would usually go to Winchell's, but Cherri's is actually a lot more convenient for me since it's closer to my freeway exit, and I love supporting small businesses. Service was great; the female owner who helped me picked out really fresh donuts for my dozen box and was super nice.
I thought I had already shared a review for this amazing restaurant, but I guess I got sidetracked. The food is fantastic—so delicious that it’s hard to describe! The service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is wonderful too! I have to mention that I'm absolutely in love with their donuts!!!!!!
CroNuts are flakey and crispy at the same time when you first bite into them but are soft and chewy when reaching the center mass of the donut disguised buttery puff pastry.
They don't have the donuts you want. They literally told me they don't have chocolate, peanut butter, or blueberry donuts.

The donuts are always fresh, and the service is consistently friendly. I absolutely love the giant chocolate chip cookie!
