The Chesapeake Restaurant at the Tides Inn is a NNK treasure. Surrounded by glass, diners are treated to a serene view while enjoying custom cocktails, fine wine, made-to-share appetizers, elegant mains, and delectable desserts. We enjoyed every bit of our fried oyster app, filet mignon, and crème brûlée cheesecake. While the food and ambience is exceptional, what really sets this restaurant apart is the service, which is warm, attentive, and sincere. Among their professional and dedicated team are Brandon (chef supreme) and Meghan (a server with a smile), who made my birthday dinner one to remember. Many thanks to both of you!
I absolutely adore the Chesapeake Room! The service from our servers, Cici and Megan, was outstanding. The soft shell crabs are specially grown and selected for the Inn and were incredibly delicious. The shrimp and grits were heavenly. The bar has a fantastic selection of bourbon, scotch, and wine. The fried oyster po boys were scrumptious! The indoor and outdoor dining areas offer beautiful views of Carter's Creek, perfect for snapping photos. My only suggestion would be to bring back white tablecloths for every meal.
Our server, Lisa, was outstanding. She remembered us from previous visits. She was very busy last night but took the extra time to make our evening very enjoyable. This is an a zing place for a special occasion.
Part of the weekend birthday celebration for my wife. I think the hostess forgot we had a reservation and were waiting to be seated. Had to wait longer than expected. I could tell she got confused.

We celebrated our anniversary at a perfect place. Every moment was enjoyable and memorable. We are already planning to spend our anniversary weekend at Tides Inn again next year.
The crab soup is fantastic. The cocktails are decent. There are many wonderful spirits to choose from. The Caesar salad is average. The crab cakes were delicious.
Food was good and the views are excellent. Service was lacking and definitely not up to par.
Birthday celebration. Plenty of extra attention to make it very special for my wife!
