hands below the best bbq place in the northeast. I was in austin tx. at the beginning of this year I went into a famous bbq restaurant and didn't taste better than chesters bbq. I think I spoke to the owner and he told how some people from jersey, boston, pa, travel on a weekly or monthly basis to get this bbq and I don't blame them because I will also be one of them. the meat is very delicate and so delicious. the place smells so good cuz the smoker is inside and when they come out, they will also smell like bbq. nothing else to say, just go and try for yourself, then thank me later.

Nothing else to say, just go after your self and thank me later.
The food was good. I have the bride and the dark chicken. I also have the Mac and cheese and potato salad. The shares were ok for the price, I paid more for smaller shares in other BBQ positions. The brisket was tender and was not dry. The chicken was also juicy, but could use a little more flavor. The Mac and the cheese were good. The potato salad was some of the best I tried in a long time, tasted closer to homemade things than other places. Cornbread was really good, it was moist and crumbling as I like it. I'm back.
I visited CT for the first time with a few colleagues. I like to play a little game with new restaurants where I let the staff choose my meal for me, and I wasn't let down at all. I ordered the two-meat plate, which included pulled pork, burnt ends, macaroni and cheese, cornbread, and some intriguing dish that I'm not quite sure about. Everything was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! Additionally, the staff had a conversation with one of their BBQ experts, and I learned a lot from that. Thank you!

I recently visited Groton and ordered the #4 combo, which includes ribs and BBQ. After placing my order, I was informed that the ribs would be spare ribs. I had assumed that when the menu referred to "Ribs," it meant baby back ribs, as I expected something different than spare ribs, especially considering the price of $88 for one rack and one pound from the BBQ.
Repulsive food. Honestly. I've been looking forward to trying this place for a long time.. I got brisket, chili, rice and beans with cornbread.. the chili tastes like bbq sauce and the brisket was just boring. This food also made me terribly sick. I spent my night vomiting after eating here. I wouldn't recommend. I won't return. 10/10 not worth the price.
I had a great experience overall, although I did order a brisket sandwich and was told it came with brisket and bread. However, they added BBQ sauce to it, which I didn't want. It seems like they're known for putting barbecue on everything—just not their drinks—rather than focusing on the quality of their other food items.
Food was good. I liked the brisket (which is always my judgement), but the coleslaw would be a pass next time. Just taste like mayo in a salad needs something more. Ribs were good, and sausage was good too. The sweet sauce is one I’ve never tasted before and loved it on the ribs.

You can't go wrong wit the Sampler for 2! everything is delicious pork ribs, chicken plus collard greens and baked beans!!
$30 for 1 person to eat lunch is absurd. Very clean bathrooms. Very friendly staff. The food was okay at best.
