Man, this place has gone downhill. Apparently now you only receive one complimentary basket of chips and one little dish of salsa. We had a table of 4 adults and 1/3 of the chips were broken into small pieces. One basket of chips for FOUR adults. We asked for another basket and were told it would be an additional charge, which we have never encountered from a Mexican place! I ordered fajitas and our server asked if I wanted shredded cheese or guacamole. OR?!? One or the other…for a $25 meal??? What a joke! We used to dine here quite frequently, but we will definitely never be back.
This location charges you for extra chips and salsa! Really? Who made up that stupid rule? We got five “complimentary” baskets of chips and five salsas for 15 people. When we asked for more, they would not give it to us without charging us $4 per basket. Had we all sat at our own tables, we would’ve each gotten our own basket of chips and salsa! We didn’t need more chips, but it’s just the principle! This location also seems higher priced than others we’ve been to. Probably because it’s right next-door to the mall of America.
This place is fine. Went for lunch and enjoyed my bowl. The sound sort of bounces off the walls so it was a bit hard for me to hear and have a conversation with my friend....but then I do have hearing issues too. The food and service were good overall, but nothing spectacular or stand-out
I met a girlfriend here for lunch, and we enjoyed it a lot. The service was great. We both got the lunch duo and the Santa Fe salad was particularly good. It was a nice spot to enjoy talking and catching up. Plan to come back.

Chevys has become very overpriced. $5 for a pop and $5 to add black beans to my quesadilla. So sad it has come to this. $27 for a cheese quesadilla and a pop. Will not return.
The food was passable but the service was great, very nice people. We had 2 children, so we appreciated how fast we were served. We will definitely go again.
The service was just ok. The reasons why. I didn’t get my water that I asked for and also we had to ask for more corn tortillas.
It’s what you would expect from a chain restaurant, but a bit higher quality on service than your typical chain.
