We visited here after reading excellent reviews and were pleased with the general ambience when we arrived . However , after being seated we waited over 15-20 mins for a menu let alone being asked for a drink water would have been nice) ! Eventually I left the table and got a menu myself ! We ordered our drinks , water and wine, no wine glasses were produced . The solo waitress was so preoccupied , plus dealing with a few take outs, we couldn't get her attention without leaving the table again , which eventually we did to get a glass off the bar. Landed in Paris. Took train to Gare De l’est. 18 hours in flight and transit. Hungry. Check in and walk past this Bistro. 11+am 3 tables. Decide to walk in and chose a curb side sun drench table. Service staff spoke English. Prompt and efficient service menu, water and short brief. Ordered 3 entree and 1 main. Excellent prompt hot food serve. Delicious and looks good instagrams able. Great wine great food and lovely coffee. Super like the waitress.
We were a group of 13 friends looking for a restaurant in Selestat. Due to the high season, there were not so many restaurants opened. Aldo were one of them. We werenot sure what to expect, but it turned to be a very good experience: friendly service, good food, big portions! The vegie pizza was very good as well the gambas salad, I recommend.
