My son and I passed this place while walking around Princeton. The appearance of all those pastries was too appealing to simply pass them by.The shop was very nice inside. There is seating available, but if they’re busy, you might have to get your food to go.We were interested in the small desserts, not a whole cheesecake or any of their other items. They have one case filled with colorful and tasty looking items, about 40 different options. Prices ranged from $7 to $11.My son chose the Cassis $7) and I got the Mara Des Bois $9). We had tea time reservations at Chez Alice and could not have been happier. Our table was reserved at the window and not only did we receive excellent service, the staff customized the bites to our needs, and allowed us to relax and stay for hours. They did not rush us out and even refrigerated our leftovers until we were ready to leave. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would recommend Chez Alice over other tea time options in the area. Please visit even just for an unplanned stop in to go. So many wonderful options. You will not be disappointed!
Terribly disappointing. Used to offer fresh and delicious desserts but no more. I purchased four different desserts today and two of them were so stale they were inedible. There were two male employees: one who did not seem to understand English quite well, was very short with us and had an attitude, made us feel as if we were bothering him; the other (at the cash register) was a bit better but looked exhausted and frustrated. I used to be a faithful customer but I will not set foot in that place ever again.
My friend and I walked past this cafe after dinner. The place is very well decorated and has a great selection of pastries, dessert and coffee drinks. I ordered their key lime tart which was so delicious. I also got some croissants to go which were also very tasty! The staff was great and I can't wait to try their brunch items next time.
