We visited Chez Amis, in mid-October while staying in nearby Cazedarne. Magnus picked up our group of nine, in his van and drove us to the restaurant and back all the while telling us about some of the local history and geology. On our return trip he also showed us a few local kayaking and swimming spots. Once at the Chez Amis Outi prepare us and the other guests a very tasty 3 course lunch. We found the meal and the whole experience very enjoyable and excellent value.
Worth the drive. .. nicely converted cellar, charming hosts, a variety of Scandanavian and French food. Cosy interior for winter months, during spring and summer, the garden is cool and shady with a pool clients can use, wifi on offer, basic meals can be accommodated for the children whilst adults enjoy a more sophisticated meal. Meals all made from scratch, so a little time to wait, but enjoy the local wines, meet some new people and enjoy.
We dined here on two occasions during a recent walking holiday in the area. It is run by a husband and wife team from Scandinavia and Finland. They also run a B and B. The food was top notch. I never eat duck but as it was a set menu for our group I had no choice. It was delicious. I heartily endorse the other reviews and wish this couple every success. They deserve it.
Besides discovering new flavors, we had a great time! Little soup of corn really succulent, the pork with its potatoes, let's not even talk about it, and the vanilla ice behind the homemade blueberry was just exceptional! We'll be back! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Myself and three friends had a meal at this excellent restaurant on 5 November 2015, and I can only say that the atmosphere and decor in the restaurant was lovely, the food was truly excellent and the surrounding environment is divine!
Hyggelig restaurant, dygtig kok og både indendørs og udendørs restaurant. Kan anbefales! Vi fik en hjælpsom velkomst i byen og nød også en dejlig eftermiddag i gårdhaven. Tak for dejlig mad:)-
Total lækker mad, original svensk betjening - absolut besøget værd på alle måder ✔️Det var lige, hvad vi havde brug for og håbede på. De to hovedretter på menuen så begge dejlige ud.

I've eaten at chez ami a few times now and never been disappointed. Outi and Magnus always have a lovely welcome. Good quality food.
