We have booked a table for 6 people with 2 kids. We have arrived on time and the staff was kind enough to bring us very quickly 2 dishes of pasta for the kids. Unfortunately the place run out of kindness right after. We have waited 30 minutes to ask for our dishes. After waiting an additional 1 hour and 30 minutes for our dishes, we were told that there was still some time to wait (not clear how much). We have decided to leave the restaurant because at 10 PM the kids were out of energy and they were starting to become a noisy problem for the other guests. We arrived in Olmeto earlier today and looked on TripAdvisor for some good restaurants. Saw that Chez Antonie was close to where we were staying. I also noticed that the reviews mentioned how busy the restaurant was and it would be better for us to reserve or turn up early. We went at 7 and to our surprise (we hadn't noticed) the restaurant was literally next to our hotel. We arrived nice and early so got a nice table inside the restaurant (there are tables outside too). They service was great, they were so friendly and even spoke some English to us. After spending 4 days in the north (Corte) on our first evening in the south we decided to visit Chez Antoine! By far the best place we've been to in Corsica! The Porcelet was cooked to perfection and the portion was super generous!! I had the €25 set menu which for the quality and size of the meal makes it amazing value for money!! Highly recommend it to anyone around the area!
