Well, this historic restaurant in sannois (95) of oriental specialties, opened in the 1960s, still bears the name of its founder. That's where I tasted my first and succulent couscous. the chance and mobility of life made me desert it for many years and I recently returned. While the men and women of the house, all from the same family strain have changed, the warmth of the reception, service and atmosphere remain. the quality of the rich dishes is always exceptional. their choice is great, the products are fresh and of good origin. the traditional wines to be consumed with this type of cuisine are offered but also those from European grape varieties. prices, both in terms of "solid" and liq...
The welcome is here of the most friendly and warm. the frame is very pleasant finely oriental, of good taste, of space. We're at ease immediately. a good choice of typical dishes you only know how to choose. Tajines, couscous... I've had a lamb tajine, prunes. A great delight! Very fresh meat, delicious vegetables, fragrant dish and I left nothing. too good, too good. Then a good mint tea served by the boss and "his belly dance" DIVIN.It's qualite! We're worried about customers, we're taking care of them. It's very nice. Don't hesitate, but you have to book. an address not to be missed.
I'll try to be brief. couscous is just passable (you can believe me, I ate a very good whole childhood). the smoulum is not worked enough, the broth is too fat. On the service side, fans of stereotypical folklore or even colonialist will appreciate, but personally, I find that doing belly dance by serving the mint tea, while singing "Zubida" of vincent lagaf' serves the cultures of the maghreb and the image of the Moroccan restoration. The gastronomy of the maghreb deserves better. I hope in any case that the contents of the plate will improve. See!
