We attended on a hot summer’s day with local family friends so we had a group of 6 adults and 2 kids. This place is meant to have the best frog legs in the region. They are served piping hot on a sizzling cast iron plate in butter, garlic and parsley. They really are truly excellent! Crispy, delicious and fresh! I had the privilege of having the best hamburger of my life here. I have sampled burgers all over the world including Fergberger in Queenstown NZ which the Lonely Planet called ‘probably the best burger in the world’. Bibet is an institution with a lot of tables closed to the Saône river. The location of this restaurant is one of the main interest of this restaurant. We were six on a ronde table. We had a Tartare of salmon and frogs off course. We specially like the dessert.
Overpriced and terrible food! The friture was soggy and tasteless. The joue de veau an attempt at being creative with traditional French recipe, without success. The fish of the day uncooked and swimming in butter. Up all night with stomach pains.
The hotel we stayed in recommended this restaurant. We went along and were ignored by a total of 7 staff after waiting for 10 minutes. We were not greeted by 1 of them even though all 7 looked at us.
