The kitchen is always excellent: from the terrine to the desserts it is home, traditional dishes and succulents. the waiter is lunatic but good advice and the maintenance of the restaurant is to review deeply, it would take a maintenance of the edge on the windows and less spiders in the toilets, at least give all the plates on the table, clean behind the tables the ties....bref make a big cut. but the kitchen is delicious, tasteful, the view of ventheuil and divine breast, the ideal terrace; It's an old restaurant that makes you make a 100-year-old back you're expected to see men show with canoes and women in long dresses, in addition there's a free baccalaureate and you can cross the breas...
This place makes me angry. They are sitting on a gold mine: the most amazing view, painted by Monet countless times and hanging in most major international museums; super quaint surroundings; great venue; amazing light. It could be perfect! But. the food is terrible, it's dirty, the service is non-existent (we had to bring our drinks to the terrace ourselves and were told to leave our empty glasses there and they will pick them up following morning). It could be an amazing place and is just a missed opportunity. Worth going to if you want to feel like some kind of warped reality with a touch of French surrealist meets the 60s meets zola. Don't go for food service or anything else.
atypical, it is true and it gives all the more charm to this restaurant located in a beautiful setting, namely a hamlet "foot in the water" on the edge of a loop of the breast. simple but excellent and generous kitchen. friendly waiter and not devoid of humor, very reasonable price, . idyllic frame since from the restaurant room, one has a breathtaking view of the other bank and its hills, on ventheuil where resides claude monet .and on the boats. we live at 8km nearby and we will often eat in this atypical restaurant, out of time. to tell you exactly for 24 years. We're going with family or in love as soon as it's beautiful. The kitchen is good, but the frame is beautiful!we admire the boats, listen to the birds' songs and we admire the coast of the Guyon rock on the other side. a splendor this place in a tiny village. lovers of calm, nature and discovery, don't hesitate to go to the sink. 30 July 2017 we came to lunch. The person of the bar not very friendly when we arrive, however pleasant reception for the restoration. Inputs, dishes, dessert are made home with a good family kitchen and then the cheese is copied. I invite you to even the pictures. It's the first time we've come and we'll be back. Restaurant simple tasteful to do without hesitation.
Le restaurant a une très belle vue, cela pourrait être une mine d'or, mais le service est lamentable pour une cuisine très moyenne. De plus L'hygiène est limite. Le patron est carrément désagréable et râleur sauf si vous êtes un pote. Pas de menu mais uniquement à la carte. Prix élevé par rapport à la prestation. On y remettra pas les pieds.

Le cadre est superbe et c'est un des gros avantages. Sinon le reste ne vaut pas d'attendre, engager un serveur serait un plus et un petit coup peinture serait encore mieux.
