found a recommendation in Lazy Languedoc guide, so as it was off the path least trodden decided to seek it out on a beautifully sunny day in Nov. What a surprise too, located literally right on the crystal clear waters edge with fantastic views towards Bouzigue and further West to Meze and Marseillan in the distance.We went for lunch, very pleased with our food, good portions and helpful waiter / patron. Imagine this would be a great place to eat while watching the sunset over the lagoon.After lunch we walked beside the water around the promontory towards town with wonderful views of nearby Sete. Really worth seeking out one day.
Not maybe the cheapest option, but you get really good value for money. The seafood is fresh and the servings huge, very impressive "plateau de fruit de mer" of various sizes. The restaurant is away from the main esplanade and sits right on the water. The sunset as viewed from the restaurant terrace is lovely.If you want to save your money for the food, the 50 cl "pichet' of house wine is acceptable and only 7 Euros!
the location is stunning. we arrived early and the place was not busy and waited 20 minutes before they received attention and the menus. I had a pot with steamed mushes, with a good third were shaken and dry, followed by a poorly cooked sea. foam that had no taste. my evening companion got some thick and gum-like sweetness that he could not finish. eur 102.5 not recommended
the cache is: from this type of restaurant, with view of the sea, show up as the best fish place ever. they expect that they have the best fish at all. Unfortunately, my grilled otopus was hard to chew. location is a dream and...for romantic dinner, though!

It is difficult to imagine a more pleasant experience than Sunday lunch on a sunny day at the waters edge of the Etang de Thau. Excellent seafood and great value. It doesn't get better than this.
