Nous sommes allés ce midi chez Foucher, la dernière fois, c'était en soirée. A chaque fois l'accueil est très sympa. Le patron est drôle, une vraie personnalité locale! les serveurs sont aux petits soins, et l'ambiance est décontractée. Om mange bien, simplement (menu de midi) et pour un très bon prix. vraiment l'esprit guinguette. A recommander.
on our visit to Montmerle s/saone we had a very pleasant meal at "Foucher" restaurant. The owner was very cheerfull and welcoming and the staff polite. The menu is reasonably priced with good quality food, a special mention for the "quenelle" -delicious. The atmosphere is friendly and well worth a visit.
What an excellent find this very friendly family run restaurant close the river. Stephan the Patron was such a jovial guy, we passed several evenings at this establishment. One in particular was spent drinking local wine and sampling local cheeses with the Patron.

Guinguette au bord de l'eau, accueil très agréable, penser à réserver pour la terrasse en été. La friture très correcte et la quenelle un délice.
The baguette (€1.05) here was greatThe Madeleines (€1 for 3) though were not so greatThey were way too dry and I tossed the bag after one bite.
Avis sur les plats mitigé, le service est médiocre ( longue attente et oubli de notre commande ), mais site assez agréable en quai de Saône.
