We were enjoying a long walk in the French Sunshine when we stumbled across this very busy eatery which served Seafood and had a buzzing atmosphere. This restaurant is quirky in so much as you sit on bench seats at long tables with complete strangers and Mussels and Chips are served in a basin . Please don't be put off by this as for us this just added to the excellent experience we both had at this restaurant. I had some of the best Mussels I have ever eaten, very fresh and extremely tasty. My wife had the Prawns and also spoke in glowing terms regarding her meal . This is a must place to visit if you enjoy simple tasty food with great wine and beer.
Not been for 4 years. Couldn't wait to return and we weren't disappointed. Fantastic simple concept. Delicious gambas, sardines and moules. Our children loved everything and the price is as ever very cheap. Paper plates and benches are part of the charm and concept. A superb meal at lunch or dinner..... make sure you get there early. Looking forward to going again this holiday. A firm favourite for us always.
Great location on the Capbreton harbor.Amazing mussels cooked on plancha. Served with a load of fries. Lived the the sardins as well.Staff is focused and efficient. The place is always crowded but it is so affordable and good that everyone in the area feom families to group of friends come here.Love it! Want to go back asap.
Set on the harbour with big share tables it serves the best mussels and fries ever. So So Yum. If you can get there early (it opens at 7pm I think) then you will get straight in. If you get there at 7pm then you will need to wait. Thats how good it is. Its family friendly with lots of kids running around outside.

Stopped for a quick lunch and shared mussels frites. Loved it. Good service, great food and nice setting. Good sized portion which meant we couldn't finish it! Will go back again.
Very basic menu - just moules, crevettes, sardines and frites really. But very simple and good. Lovely port side situation. No frills but all the better for that.
Great place for food - it was mega busy but it was quite amazing in terms of value and the wine was really good. My girlfriend and I loved every minute of it.
A bit disappointed. Very small mussels, not washed out properly (sandy), a lot of them not open. Seasoning however still nice and just spicy enough.

Grilled prawns, sardines and mussels, in the marina. Fast efficient service and a beer or glass of rose. What more could you want. Superb.
We go always at least 3 times during our holidays in Capbreton to chez minus. The moules and the frites are the best.
