our restaurant in shire. incredible service, beautiful atmosphere and the French cuisine is never less than stunning. tonight our amuse beech came in the form of a mini chicken kebab with tamarindensauce, perfectly spicy enough tickling the tonge. for beginners I shared the mixed seafood plate, with a juicy grilled king prawn, super soft salmonticka and sesame heavy fish, all with swirling and artful beats of accompanying chutneys, sauces and sounds (including crispy purple mini peppered tweezers! . but as always, the showtoffer was my main beautifully boiled to pink perfection, this hunk of buttery soft stealing with carrots, pommes fondant, celeriac puree veal jus, all topped with crispy s...
Really nice restaurant, staff are welcoming and the dishes are really tasty. I had the soft shell crab for starters and that was full of flavour and crispy then I had the beef with a truffle oil mash, that was amazing. The truffle oil really made the dish. My girlfriend also had the black cod for her main and that too was also cooked perfectly with and interesting curry and Mango sauce. Definitely worth a try.
beautifully presented tasty eating especially the chez mumtaj dessert plate. the experience thrilled though the huh main dish might have been better in taste, but it is okay rest of the dishes were great. they also gave us free herbal samosa. there are free parking spaces against this place for an hour.
had the most incredible meal, this place is incredible! the service was incredible and the food was really delicious and hot with so big aromes! would recommend them for every place st albans or the environment!
