OK, so the Patronne could benefit from charm school but the staff were friendly and attentive. Quick service, good food, great location. We shared whitebait as a starter and then my wife had sardines and I had hake, both generous portions and with loads of fries. The mussels looked fabulous. You don't come to an place like this for fine dining, it is casual and authentic and we would happily recommend a visit. A thunderstorm didn't put them off, they just moved everyone inside. And we were the only Brits out of over 40 diners!

Moules frites, sardines, prawns in whisky, all right on the edge of the Garonne river - the smells alone were enough to tempt you to go in. Plenty of space under cover, prompt efficient service, a nice carafe of rose - perfect summer lunch!

If you're in the Medoc area and looking for a restaurant with an authentic setting by the river and fancy some sea-food but aren't too fussy about the state of the restaurant which could do with a lick of paint, this is the place for you.

OK food at a bit wore down restaurant not so far from Macau. The fish and chips was good, but the best was the dessert; apple pie with ice cream. very friendly waiters.

Restaurant along the river. Nice outside terrace with view on the river. Good choice of fish on the menu. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere.
